The Richard Alan Group is delighted to be taking part in the Leeds City Region’s Local Enterprise Partnership campaign to encourage Government investment in the region.
Managing Director Robert Johnson was one of numerous local business owners showcasing the diversity and strength of business in the region. The campaign video is part of a larger bid to the Government, designed to demonstrate the growth potential the Leeds City Region offers.
Already one of the core regions for business in the North, the Leeds City Region offers investment opportunities in one of the most dynamic and fastest growing areas in the country. Having been based in the region for the entirety of it’s 44 year history, Richard Alan Engineering is a particularly good example. From a small factory in Batley, the company has developed and worked hard to become the globally operating business it is today, manufacturing high quality equipment for business on all corners of the globe.
The Leeds City Region currently accounts for an impressive 4% of the entire National Economic output and employs around 1.3m people. With the area continuing to develop, this number is set to continue expanding. As a region that boasts some of the most innovative and dynamic businesses around, the opportunities the region affords to investors are plentiful and highly attractive.
Having recently been listed as one of the London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’, the Richard Alan Group demonstrates the potential of the region and the expansive opportunities that are available.
Louise Sheen, of the Richard Alan Group said: “: “We’re extremely proud to be a part of this bid. The Leeds City Region is an exciting place to be at the moment, the sheer volume and diversity of businesses here is astonishing. The North has long been associated with quality manufacturing and engineering and we are enthusiastically playing our part in re-establishing that reputation. The region has more recently become a central hub for a number of other industries, such as service, technology and finance and that growth is supported by excellent transport links and amazing educational facilities.”
Roger Marsh, Chair of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership said: “This is a game changing moment for our City Region. We genuinely believe that nowhere is better placed than right here, to rebalance the UK economy and deliver sustained future growth. Our Plan is bold but highly credible. We need our partners, businesses and individuals to get behind the region and demonstrate to government that we are ready to get to work. For the City Region, it is no longer why, but why not.”
The Richard Alan Group is proud to offer its support to the Leeds City Region’s campaign, and urges its friends and neighbouring business to do the same.
